🔒Close Project

Creators of projects on Teiki have the ability to close their projects at any time, whether it's because they've reached their funding goal or for other reasons.

As a creator, it is essential to keep your backers informed and updated on the status of your project. Communicating your project's closure and its reasoning by posting an announcement will maintain trust and transparency with your backers.

1. Be upfront and transparent about the closure.

2. Provide a clear and detailed explanation of the reason for the closure.

3. Consider offering refunds or alternate solutions to backers.

4. Keep an open line of communication and respond to any questions or concerns from backers in a timely and professional manner.

Step 1 : Access Teiki Homepage

Access Teiki Homepage at https://alpha.teiki.network

Step 2: Connect Your Wallet

Connect the wallet you used to create the project. As a wallet address represents a project ID, you must connect to the same wallet to close the project.

Step 3: Enter Your Project Detail Page

• Click on "My Project" from the menu bar to reach your Project Detail Page.

• Or you can search for your project using the below guideline:

Step 4-1: Close Your Project

• Click "..." button on your Project Detail Page => Select "Close project".

• If you still have funds available, Teiki will ask you to withdraw your fund balance before closing your project

You can check the guideline Withdraw Fund to withdraw funds before closing your project.

• Withdraw Successfully

After completing your withdrawal, "Continue to close your project" to keep your progress

• Close your project

Close your project "Immediately" or "Schedule the closing time" by picking your desired time and date.

Tick "I understand and want to close my project" Pay the related fees to project closing => "Close Project"

• Project Closed/ Closing project is successfully scheduled.

Step 4-2: Inform Your Backers - Post An Announcement

Kindly check Update Project & Post An Announcement

• Click "Announce Updates" button on your Project Detail Page

• Fill in your announcement details: Title, Description...You can customize your post layout with images, videos, tables,...

• Click "Preview" to see your announcement before submitting

• "Submit" and pay the related fees

• View your announcement on Project Detail
